A New Arrangement Creates a Home

Godelief asked for a consultation on their vacation home. The problem was that the house was neither comfortable nor relaxing.

During the consultation I saw the energy flow was hampered by the furniture arrangement. The house lacked a defined space for sitting, and the dining area was not the most favorably placed. Together these problems created a dysfunctional restless atmosphere.

In response to my suggestions, we rearranged the furniture to create a sitting area at one end of the large room, and moved the eating table to the other end near the kitchen. The hallway was opened up to allow the energy entering the house to circulate more freely. The result was the house felt open, comfortable, and functional. Such great results, with relatively minimal effort.
